Championship chasing King's Lynn Stars have swooped to sign top British prospect Richie Worrall.
The 21-year-old spent last season with Lakeside Hammers and was due to be with them this year before a contract dispute saw him dropped.
Belle Vue Aces then moved to sign him on a permanent deal, but with the VII in place and settled - they have now agreed to loan him to the Stars, who have dropped Australian Kozza Smith, who has struggled so far this term.
Stars promoter Buster Chapman told the club's website: "I spoke with Rob (Lyon, team manager) about Kozza (Smith) and we both felt that a change was needed as it will benefit the club and Kozza with his Premier league racing. It's never an easy decision and I would like to thank Kozza for his efforts this year.
"We are delighted to have brought Richie (Worrall) into the team. He is a quick rider that I'm sure can only get better for us this year and challenge for a place in the main body of the team."
