Peter Kildemand: Back with Swindon for 2014
Danish rider Peter Kildemand is returning to Swindon for the 2014 season.
Kildemand, 24, has proved to be a popular member of the Robins on his previous two stints, being named the club's Rider of the Year on both occasions.
With an average slightly higher than the returning Troy Batchelor, Kildemand is set to start next season as Swindon's No 1 rider, and manager Alun Rossiter is pleased with the latest addition to his squad.
"There's no better sight in speedway than seeing Peter Kildemand in full flight, and you know you've got something special when you have people like Carl Fogarty tweeting that they love watching Kildemand."
Rossiter said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have our double Rider of the Year back. Peter is a rider who gets better every year, and once again I feel there's more to come from him.
"He started with us on an average of just over four, he put it up to 6.98 in his first year and then it went to 8.25 last season, and I really think he could improve on that further because he's learning all the time.
"He also guarantees excitement. There's no better sight in speedway than seeing Peter Kildemand in full flight, and you know you've got something special when you have people like Carl Fogarty tweeting that they love watching Kildemand.
"I'm really happy with the way things are coming together. Peter's average is just above Troy's, so he'll start at No.1, but I'm expecting a big year from them both and I think being made captain will give Troy an extra edge too."
