Elite League new boys Leicester Lions have completed their first two signings by landing Jason Doyle and Mads Korneliussen.
A host of clubs had been chasing Doyle, so Leicester's signing of the Australian represents something of a coup.
Doyle, who spent last season with Birmingham Brummies, is joined at Beaumont Park by Korneliussen - who has been with King's Lynn Stars in recent years.
Both come on loan from Swindon Robins, and boss David Hemsley was very happy with the signings and said: "To say I am delighted that Jason has agreed to ride for Leicester is an understatement.
"He is an inspirational leader and a highly respected person.
"Mads brings vast experience to the club having ridden in all the major leagues in Europe. He is much in demand and his record over the season makes for impressive reading."
