Nico Covatti: "Terrific performance"
Birmingham usurped Swindon at the top of the Elite League with a 49-40 win at Coventry on Friday night.
The defeat ended the Bees' seven-match unbeaten run at home, with Brummies skipper Danny King top-scoring with 12+1.
Birmingham's fourth away win of the season takes them three points clear of Swindon and Wolverhampton and they have matches in hand on both.
"It was one of those nights where everything just clicked," said King.
"We all did our part and even when Nico (Covatti) turned up late, we all got behind him and he ended up producing a terrific performance."
Friday's other Elite League action saw Lakeside defeat King's Lynn 50-43 at Purfleet to move three points ahead of Poole in the race for fourth place.
