Czech Republic international Ales Dryml has been handed a spot in the Fogo British FIM Speedway Grand Prix in Cardiff on June 1.

World Championship first reserve Dryml has been called up for a second SGP round in succession to replace Australian rider Darcy Ward, who is still recovering from a broken shoulder blade.

The Pardubice-born rider, who last raced at the Millennium Stadium when he was a full-time SGP rider in 2004, dons the No 19 race jacket.

Dryml accrued three points nine years ago in the Welsh capital - a total he matched in the Mitas Czech Republic FIM Speedway Grand Prix in Prague on Saturday.
