Plans to bring speedway back to Norwich for the first time in nearly 50-years have been unveiled.
A 360-metre at track at the Norfolk Showground on the site of the former golf driving range have been confirmed.
Planning permission is expected for an initial 480-seat capacity stadium and a decision is expected by October with the hope the sport could be revived in time for next season.
"We believe there is a want and a need for speedway in Norwich, if you put the racing on, they will come," Steve Ribbons of New Firs Ltd - the company behind the scheme - said.
