British Final from Wolverhampton - Monday June 16th from 7:30pm

Woffinden will now take his place at the British Final on June 16th at Wolverhampton as the firm favourite to claim a second successive British title.

“I am really pleased with the way things went and to win races again," said Woffinden.

"It’s always good to come back here to Rye House – it’s one of my favourite tracks – and I really appreciate the warm reception I always get. I’m really looking forward to the Final and the chance to defend my title.”

Woffinden's liking for his previous home no doubt helped the 23-year-old, and there was further home track benefits for both Steve Boxall and Jason Garrity as the two Rye House riders made it into the top seven to qualify.

British international Lewis Bridger eased through, whilst top prospects Richard Lawson, Richie Worrall and Lewis Blackbird also came through to book their places at Monmore Green.

Olly Allen had to withdraw from the meeting, whilst Josh Auty will have been very disappointed with his 4 point haul - now those two riders will have to wait and see whether they are given one of two wild cards available with the likes of Adam Ellis, Josh Bates, Ed Kennett and Leigh Lanham also hoping to be handed a spot for the meeting at Wolves.
