My fibula is finally healing, but still not 100% yet. I was expecting to get the all clear on 26 November with my leg to be healed at last.

The consultant and I are both pleased with the progress it's made, but we're being very cautious with last stretch as now I'm waiting for the bone density increase. I am now able to start weight baring in a boot again, which I'll be in for the next four weeks until my next appointment on Christmas Eve.

With regards to my training - it's been going very well. I've been in the gym four times a week for the last five weeks doing a lot of upper body and single leg exercises. But as I'm now allowed to start swimming again and get back on the static bike, a few changes are going to be made to my training programme.

Also, thanks to Sky, I've been able to have all the physiotherapy sessions I've needed, and that I'm going to need, which is doing a world of good!

Next week there is a day out with all the Scholars and I'm very much looking forward to it.
