We didn't play well together. You know, one guy would have a good hole and the other guy would have a bad hole, and we just didn't give ourselves two looks at birdies any hole, really. And when you're playing best ball, you need to do that.

- 2008: Stricker's first taste of Ryder Cup action ends in defeat. He and Ben Curtis lose 4&2 to Ian Poulter and Justin Rose in the afternoon fourballs.

The last putt was basically a do-or-die situation. I felt very good about the line. I felt very good about the way I've been putting during the course of the afternoon round, and I just told myself to make sure to get it there because it was uphill. And I was nervous, but again, it was good to be in that position and good to make the putt.

- Stricker, paired again with Curtis, holes a pressure putt at the last hole as he and Curtis halve their Saturday afternoon fourballs match with Sergio Garcia and Paul Casey.

This week has been way beyond my expectations as far as atmosphere and the crowds, the emotion of it all, and I am not that type of player that you saw out there, I guarantee. But it comes out. You know, in competition like this, it truly does come out.

- The usually calm Stricker gets sucked in by the intense Ryder Cup atmosphere.

I just think we are very comfortable with one another. We enjoy being out there with one another. He hits it a lot further than I do, but our games are very similar. We putt well and chip well, and he's a great iron player.

- 2010: Stricker on his partnership with Tiger Woods. They won two out of three together at Celtic Manor.
