Amlin Challenge Cup preview: Wasps v Leinster
Last Updated: 05/04/13 8:23pm
Leinster will look to secure further success in Europe when they take on Wasps in the Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-finals on Friday night.
The Irish province will not get the chance to retain their Heineken Cup crown after failing to make the knockout stages of the competition.
However they are at least in the running to lift another trophy, provided they can come out on top in the knockout clash at Adams Park, which is live on Sky Sports 2 HD.
Leinster's bid for glory on their travels is boosted by the return of Gordon D'Arcy, who has recovered from illness to take his place in the starting XV.
D'Arcy is partnered in the centres by fellow Ireland international Fergus McFadden, while Dave Kearney will bring up a half-century of appearances after being selected on the wing.
Ireland duo Sean Cronin and Shane Jennings are both named amongst the replacements.
Wasps, meanwhile, have named Joe Launchbury at flanker. The England lock starts on the blindside in a back row that also includes Sam Jones and Ashley Johnson, meaning Billy Vunipola has to make do with a seat on the bench.
Marco Wentzel captains the side from the second row where he packs down alongside Tom Palmer.
Elliot Daly is named at full-back having this week committing his future to the Aviva Premiership club by signing a new long-term deal.
