Toulouse's Cedric Heymans takes on Iain Balshaw
Toulouse beat Biarritz 27-20 in extra time in a thrilling Heineken Cup quarter-final in San Sebastian.
The scores were locked at 17-17 after 80 minutes, but Yannick Nyanga's charge-down try two minutes from the end took the defending champions through.
In the repeat of last year's final, Toulouse looked to be cruising as a brilliant Cedric Heymans try and another for Maxime Medard earned them a 17-0 half-time lead over their Top 14 rivals.
But Biarritz clawed their way back with four Dimitri Yachvili penalties and - trailing by five points with two minutes left - the France scrum-half then charged down a David Skrela kick.
Ilikena Bolakoro scooped up the loose ball and dived over in the corner to level the scores, but crucially he could probably have got a couple of metres further infield to set up an easier kick.
Yashvili lined up the conversion from the touchline but drifted it wide, to take the game into extra time.
Toulouse struck early in the extra period with a Skrela penalty and though Yachvili levelled again three minutes from time, it was his turn to be charged down by Nyanga for the decisive try.
