The versatile prop is closing in fast on a half-century of appearances for the Wallabies.
Alexander, who has been capped 48 times, has the ability to slot in at loosehead or tighthead - meaning the 28-year-old has become a vital member of the Australia pack since his debut against France in 2008.
That first appearance came before Alexander had even made a Super Rugby start for the Brumbies.
He has since become the cornerstone of the Brumbies pack, but it is not only in the scrum that Alexander has had an impact.
He is also a prolific try-scorer, having top the charts for the Brumbies with seven during the 2010 season.
