Will Hurrell: Will team up with Rotherham
Rotherham Titans have continued the rebuilding of their squad with the signings for Will Hurrell and Toby Freeman for next season.
Former England Under-20s winger Hurrell will make the switch to the Titans after making 19 appearances with London Welsh.
Having come through the academy set up at Leicester - where he gained Premiership experience - Hurrell went on to have spells on loan at Doncaster, Coventry and Nottingham.
And Rotherham coach Andre Bester admitted he was thrilled to have convinced Hurrell to join the Clifton Lane outfit.
Bester told the club's official site: "I was surprised to get Will as he is renowned as a top-class performer who has played at a high level. He has good feet and a good frame and he's very dangerous with ball in hand."
Freeman started his rugby life at Exeter, although he will arrive at Rotherham after two seasons in Spain with Ordizia Rugby Elkartea.
While at the Basque club, the 25-year-old tasted success in the Copa del Rey - scoring two tries and being named man-of-the-match in the final - and picked up a runners-up medal in the league.
Freeman, who will be a direct replacement for outgoing skipper Sam Dickinson, previously played for Launceston, Birmingham Solihull and Penryn before moving to Spain.
Bester said: "Toby has a great pedigree and is very well equipped with his size, pace and power. He has tremendous leadership qualities and will bring a great deal of experience with him.
"He's a good carrier of the ball and an exceptional operator in the line out. I'm excited to have Toby here and I'm looking forward to working with him."
