Exeter hooker Neil Clark has been announced as one of 11 new signings at Top 14 new boys Oyonnax.
Clark has spent his professional career in the south west, with spells at the Chiefs sandwiching stints at Bristol, Bath and the Cornish Pirates.
The 31-year-old will now team up with the ProD2 champions, who will be making their first appearance in France's top-flight.
"I am aware that I don't have all that many years left in me at the top end of the game," 31-year-old said.
"And to get an opportunity to play in France is something I have always wanted to do at some stage in my career.
"Leaving the Chiefs is one of the toughest decisions I've had to make in my life.
"Exeter rugby has had such an effect on me, not just in terms of playing, but in terms of my life as well. It's a fantastic club and I've enjoyed so many happy memories from my time here."
Clark will be joined by former Connacht, Northampton and Brive lock Damian Browne, who returns to France from Leinster, and Tongan international back-row forward Viliami Ma'afu.
Guillaume Bousses, Silvere Tian, Erwan Iapteff, Ruaan du Preez, Damien Lagrange, Agustin Figuerola, Pierre Aguillon and Dug Codjo have also signed deals with Oyonnax.
