Gael Fickou: Ruled out for a month with an ankle injury
Toulouse and France centre Gael Fickou has been ruled out for a month with an ankle injury.
The 18-year-old sustained the injury after coming on as a replacement in Toulouse's 35-14 win over Treviso in the Heineken Cup on Sunday.
It means he will miss the pre-Six Nations training camp with the French squad and also Les Bleus' first two matches against Italy on 3 February and Wales six days later.
He will also be sidelined for Sunday's crucial Heineken Cup clash at Leicester, with the winner progressing to the knockout round.
Fickou announced the news of his injury on Twitter, saying: "Verdict: 4 weeks out, twisted ankle (external ligament), that's part of the game!"
