Scotland international Euan Murray has teamed up with Top 14 outfit Agen on loan.
Murray, who has appeared 21 times for the Falcons since joining from Northampton, has agreed a three-month deal with Agen.
Newcastle chief executive David Bell said: "It is a great opportunity for Euan to continue playing at the highest level and will keep him in the frame for Scotland whilst still being available for Newcastle Falcons from the middle of November."
