Pierre Berbizier's six-year association with Racing Metro will officially come to an end next month.
The former France scrum-half joined the Parisians as head coach in 2007, leading them to the top-flight and into the Heineken Cup.
However Berbizier was moved to sporting director in 2012, with Gonzalo Quesada brought in to lead the side.
And the 54-year-old, who coached both Les Bleus and Italy, has now revealed that he will leave Stade Yves Du Manoir when his current contract expires.
Berbizier told L'Equipe: "I was named as consultant to the president (businessman Jacky Lorenzetti) with the title of general manager in charge of the sporting project, only without any mission or responsibility.
"Although I proposed some projects in line with the job, they were never validated."
