Castres prop Yannick Forestier is set to miss the start of the Top 14 season through injury.
The 30-year-old has been a key figure in the Castres front row since joining from Colomiers in 2004.
However he is facing at least six weeks out of action after breaking his wrists while playing for the French Barbarians in Japan.
The new Top 14 season will kick-off on August 18.
