Ulster flanker Pedrie Wannenburg has agreed a two-year deal with Top 14 side Castres.
The 31-year-old played his final game for the Irish province in the Heineken Cup final defeat to Leinster.
The South African, who joined Ulster from Super Rugby side Bulls, will join compatriots Rory Kockott, Michael Coetzee and Antonie Claassen in the south of France.
