Originally known as Lang Park, the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane has become a multi-purpose sporting facility.

Shaped like a rectangle and with three tiers, the stadium boasts a capacity of 52,500 - and has hosted football, rugby league and rugby union matches, as well as concerts.

The Queensland Reds, Brisbane Broncos and Brisbane Roar are all current tenants, while the Brisbane Strikers and South Queensland Crushers previously played there. In 2008 it was used for the final of the Rugby League World Cup.

Lang Park was set up in 1914 and has undergone numerous expansions and developments over the years including the construction of the Frank Burke Stand, the Ron McAuliffe Stand and the Western Grandstand. A $280million redevelopment plan was started in 2001 and took two years to complete.

Outside the ground - which has been dubbed the Cauldron - there are two bronze statues to commemorate rugby league legends Wally Lewis and Darren Lockyer.

Although the Lions have previously Australia in 20 Tests, they have only played the Wallabies at the Suncorp once in the past - in 1966 - with Ken Jones (2), Dewi Bebb, Dai Watkins and Noel Murphy all scoring tries in a 31-0 victory.

Fixture: v Reds, June 8 (10.30am kick-off), v Australia, June 22 (11am kick-off)
Previous Lions encounters: v Queensland W 26-3 (1966), v Australia W 31-0 (1966).
Did you know: The stadium is built on the site of a former cemetery - the North Brisbane Burial Grounds.
