British and Irish Lions hooker Richard Hibbard has placed his faith in captain Alun-Wyn Jones ahead of their deciding Test match against Australia on Saturday.
Head coach Warren Gatland opted to hand the reins to Jones when Sam Warburton's tour was ended prematurely due to a hamstring injury.
While questions have been raised over the exclusion of tour veteran Brian O'Driscoll, Hibbard insists the squad are united in support for his compatriot.
Jones has captained Ospreys several times and occasionally Wales, but Hibbard believes his team-mate warrants the role due to his professionalism.
Hibbard backs Jones captaincy
"He's inspiring on and off the field, he's a true professional and they don't come much better than Alun," the Ospreys forward told Sky Sports.
"On the field he leads from the front, I have never seen anyone like him and off it he's looking at the line outs, scrums and talking to the backs.
"He's a true leader. Alun would die for the cause; he will be the first in for the tackle and wanting to carry the ball. We are all behind Alun, following and supporting him."
Lock Jones will hope the Wallabies will be his first scalp as Lions captain at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney as the tourists look to end a 16-year wait for Test series victory.
