Peter Kimlin skippers the Brumbies against the Lions on Tuesday
Peter Kimlin and Scott Sio have been named in an ACT Brumbies XV to face the British and Irish Lions in Canberra on Tuesday.
The pair were given permission to leave the Wallabies' training camp to boost an under-strength Brumbies squad.
Number eight Kimlin will skipper a side that is without six other Australia squad members.
Ben Alexander, Ben Mowen, Stephen Moore, Pat McCabe and Christian Lealiifano remain with the national squad, while Joe Tomane is injured.
The Brumbies are also missing scrum-half Nic White who has a shoulder injury.
Coach Jake White said: "This is a huge occasion for us as a team but also individually.
"The Lions are one of rugby's last romantic sides. There is plenty of history there and we know that beating the Lions will go down in Canberra's rugby folklore for many years to come."
The Brumbies lost narrowly 30-28 to the Lions during the 2001 tour.
