Warren Gatland says the mood in the British and Irish Lions camp is very positive after they racked up their fourth successive victory against Combined Country XV.

The Lions breezed to a 64-0 win against a side that contained mostly part-time players, scoring 10 tries to bring their tally to 28 in four games.

Despite the one-sided victory, Gatland felt that the game "was a lot of use" and hopes the Lions can continue their winning streak against the Waratahs on Saturday.

"There is great harmony within the squad. We are undefeated, so if we can win the next two games we will arrive in Brisbane undefeated. We will be in a good positive frame of mind."

He said: "There was some excellent stuff, and there was some average stuff as well. There were a few turnovers.

Gatland, meanwhile said that Tommy Bowe remains hopeful of being fit for the second Test in Melbourne on 29 June, and hinted that fellow Ireland wing Simon Zebo will be involved in Sydney on Saturday.

"There is a good chance he (Zebo) might be involved in the next two games," said Gatland. "Now that Simon is here, we will try to involve him in some way."

Country XV coach Cameron Blades expects a highly competitive series between the Lions and Australia.

He said: "The Lions are a slick outfit. They put us under a fair bit of pressure at times. They are a very organised set-piece team, but I think the Wallabies will be able to do plenty of work on them."
