Bristol have continued their recruitment process for the next two seasons with the capture of half-back duo Matthew Morgan and Craig Hampson.
Former Wales Under-20s fly-half Morgan will make the switch to the Memorial Stadium from the Ospreys, while 24-year-old scrum-half Hampson will join from Greene King IPA Championship rivals Leeds.
Morgan has scored 325 points in 65 appearances for the Ospreys, with the 21-year-old having made his debut against Newcastle in November 2010.
“We’re pleased that Matthew has agreed terms – he’s a talented young player with a huge amount of potential,” Bristol director of rugby Andy Robinson told the club’s official site.
“There’s no doubting his ability. Matthew shows a positive attitude in everything he does and his line-breaking skills will benefit our style of rugby.”
Hampson is a graduate of the academy set-up at Headingley, with the former England Under-18s No 9 having made 63 appearances since his debut in 2010.
“Craig is a tenacious, confident player who is developing into a very good scrum-half,” added Robinson.
“He’s been a stand-out scrum-half in the Championship for three seasons now and we’re looking forward to welcoming him to the club.”
