Dai Young: Plenty of options at prop for Wasps
Wasps have confirmed the signing of young prop forward Jake Cooper-Woolley for next season.
The 23-year-old forward will join from Cardiff Blues, where he struggled to establish himself after spending the previous two seasons playing in the Welsh Premiership for Bedwas.
The Dorking-born foward, who featured for Harlequins at youth level, captained Cardiff University to victory in the Welsh Varsity at the Millennium Stadium last year.
Wasps coach Dai Young said: "We've got some very talented young props here with the likes of Phil Swainston and Will Taylor stepping up and doing a fine job this season.
"I saw Jake playing at Cardiff University and was very impressed and he's a young English boy who wants to improve. He's got a strong physical presence and has played at both loose and tight head."
