Guinness PRO12: Cardiff Blues take on Munster at Cardiff Arms Park, watch live on Sky Sports 2 HD

Cardiff Blues head into Saturday night's Guinness PRO12 encounter against Munster on the back of successive wins in Europe.

The Munstermen have only been beaten once in their last eight matches against the Blues, who are without a win in five PRO12 games.

Argentina wing Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino will make his Cardiff debut against Munster, which will be shown live at 5pm on Sky Sports 1 on Saturday.

Amorosino will make his first appearance for the Blues as they return to league action after successive victories in the European Challenge Cup.

The flyer is one of seven changes to the side which defeated Femi-CZ Rugby Rovigo in Italy last weekend. Gavin Evans is recalled in midfield with Adam Thomas moving to outside centre.

A new-look front row sees hooker Matthew Rees captain the team and pack down alongside Sam Hobbs and Adam Jones. Jarrad Hoeata and Filo Paulo are reunited in the second row engine room.

Cardiff's director of rugby Mark Hammett said: "We go into the Munster fixture on the back of two bonus-point victories in Europe, but we are certainly not getting carried away with those wins.

"Playing in Europe allowed us to build confidence, momentum and work on our structures and systems. Our challenge is to transfer that into the PRO12 against a powerhouse side in Munster."

Munster boss Anthony Foley has rung the changes to his starting line-up with a number of international representatives unavailable for selection.

In total, there are 11 personnel changes are made from last weekend's starting line-up that defeated Saracens 14-3 in Pool One of the European Champions Cup.

In the front row John Ryan returns from illness to start at loosehead alongside hooker Kevin O'Byrne, while BJ Botha retains his starting position at tighthead.

Veteran lock Donncha O'Callaghan has been named as captain and returns to the second row alongside Billy Holland who is promoted from the bench for this weekend's clash.

Robin Copeland is also promoted to a starting position as he faces his old Cardiff team-mates from the back of the scrum at eight.

In the half backs Duncan Williams and JJ Hanrahan are paired from the start for the first time this season at scrum-half and fly-half respectively, while impressive appearances in all Munster A games to date this season sees year two Academy player Rory Scannell on course to make his first senior competitive appearance, doing so alongside Andrew Smith in the midfield.

Ambitious Ulster

Ulster take on the Dragons at Ravenhill with the visitors having won only once in the PRO12 this season.

The Ulstermen have been defeated just once in Belfast in the tournament in their last 13 matches and head into the clash with hopes of climbing into the top two.

Ulster coach Neil Doak makes seven changes and two positional switches to his starting XV.

Stuart Olding has been released from Ireland camp and starts the game at full-back. Louis Ludik switches from full-back to the right wing with Darren Cave selected at outside centre and Stuart McCloskey picked at inside centre.

Peter Nelson is named on the left wing and plays his first game of the season for Ulster, while Paddy Jackson and Paul Marshall continue in the half-backs.

Up front, Callum Black starts at loosehead, Rob Herring is named at hooker and Wiehahn Herbst continues at tighthead prop.

Clive Ross is named at blindside flanker, while Sean Reidy is selected at openside and makes his competitive debut for the province.

The Dragons have named new signing Rhys Williams in their line-up after the 26-year-old centre signed from Carmarthen Quins on a month-long loan.

Director of rugby Lyn Jones has made seven changes to the team that faced Newcastle Falcons in Round two of the European Rugby Challenge Cup.

Jason Tovey, who recently played for Premiership side Cross Keys at full-back, has made the move into the back three and is joined by wings Matthew Pewtner and Aled Brew.

The centre pairing takes on the new shape of Williams and Ashley Smith. Half-backs Angus O'Brien and Richie Rees retain their places as fly-half and fullback.

The front row sees the return of Boris Stankovich and Thomas Rhys Thomas who join tight head prop Dan Way. They are joined in the front five by locks James Thomas and Rynard Landman, the latter taking on the role of captain.

The back row has two changes as Lewis Evans is joined by young gun James Benjamin and British and Irish Lion Andy Powell.

Scarlets favourites

Scarlets were defeated by Munster in the last round and they head into their game against Zebre having not lost successive fixtures in the competition since March.

The Welshmen are unbeaten in their last eleven matches at Parc y Scarlets in all competitions as head coach Wayne Pivac makes eight changes to his side.

John Barclay, the only positional change in the starting XV moves to number eight, will captain the side for the first time.

With eight senior Scarlets on international duty and a list of ten injured players Pivac has an opportunity to see what some of the region's next generation have to offer.

Zebre recorded a maiden European victory when beating Brive in France on Friday but have won just once in the PRO12 this season.

South African number eight Andries van Schalkwyk will take the field for Zebre after recovering from an injury suffered in Round Two.

The back-row will make his 50th official appearance for Zebre becoming the first player to reach this goal in the franchise's history.
