Cian Healy admits it will be hard for Leinster's British and Irish Lions contingent to focus on their double bid.

Healy was joined by club-mates Rob Kearney, Jonathan Sexton, Jamie Heaslip and Sean O'Brien for the official get together of the Lions squad ahead of the 10-match tour to Australia - while , Brian O'Driscoll was missing as he received treatment on a back injury.

However, while a number of the 37-strong touring party will move on to their training base in Wales on Tuesday, those players with domestic commitments will return to their clubs.

Leinster are still challenging on two fronts, with the Amlin Challenge Cup final against Stade Francais followed by the RaboDirect PRO12 final against Ulster.

And although excited at teaming up with the Lions, Healy claims the players will now have to put the tour to the back of their minds.

Switch off

"You can't really measure it. It is one of those things that you'd love to do so to now get that opportunity it is pretty good," he told Sky Sports.

"It is hard to keep our mind on Leinster but we have got to switch back off and go home and do the domestic job to get ourselves back here after."

Healy faces intense competition for a place in the Test team however he knows that he can only focus on continuing to work hard.

"We haven't had a big meeting yet, it is just come as you are and all that will be sorted out after," he added.

"Everyone knows that you play your best rugby then you'll get picked. I am sure that is what everyone will have on their minds."
