Glasgow Warriors face their toughest test of the season as they face reigning champions Leinster at Firhill on Sunday.

Leinster are six points clear at the top of pool three, already guaranteeing automatic qualification to the quarter-final stage as they look to retain their Heineken Cup title.

The Warriors' second round defeat to Leinster caused pain which is still raw in the emotions of coach Sean Lineen.

"That defeat in Dublin was hugely disappointing but we do not need any additional motivation for Sunday other than that we will be playing the current European champions," he said.

"Leinster's overall game is pretty much complete and they are tremendously physical at the breakdown.

Special

"They also make the right decisions across the board and Jonny Sexton makes them even that little bit more special."

Glasgow will face Bath in their final pool match and with ten points already this season will be using the final matches to better their Heineken Cup record, having never won more than three matches at this stage.

"We are where we are in both the Pro12 and the Heineken Cup but our next two games in the Heineken Cup are absolutely huge in terms of our ambitions not only for this season but also beyond into the seasons ahead," said Lineen.

If the Warriors are going to have any chance of victory at home against Leinster they will have to improve their performance when they allowed the European champions to run away in Dublin.

"Unforced errors early on cost us 14 points and they will have learnt from that. However, while our set piece play has been pretty good and the players are working hard for each other, we have to cut out the unforced errors, like kicks out on the full or wayward passes, to really take things on," he added.
