Taulupe Faletau and Hallam Amos return to the Dragons starting XV for their Guinness Pro12 Welsh derby against the Ospreys at Rodney Parade on Friday.
Wing Amos is back in the fold after recovering from a torn labrum he suffered in June, while back row Faletau returns after being rested for the opening clash of the season against Connacht.
Director of rugby Lyn Jones has made three changes to the side which lost in Ireland, Faletau and Amos coming in for Andy Powell and Tom Prydie respectively.
The other change comes in the second row, where former Ospreys player Ian Gough comes in to replace Rynard Landman.
The Ospreys have named an unchanged side after their 44-13 victory against Treviso on the opening weekend of the season.
Head coach Steve Tandy has also opted against making any changes among his replacements, meaning he will use the exact same match-day 23 for the second week in a row.
Edinburgh v Connacht
Elsewhere in the Guinness Pro12 on Friday night, Edinburgh will host Connacht at Murrayfield having made one change from the side which claimed a shock win against Munster on opening weekend.
Head coach Alan Solomons has moved Sam Beard from centre to right wing while Nick McLennan is promoted from the bench to partner him on the left wing and Phil Burliegh fills the void left by Beard.
Dougie Fife and Tim Visser have both been ruled out due to injury, while Hamish Watson replaces Nikki Walker at flanker.
Connacht boss Pat Lam has made three changes from the team which beat the Dragons. Darragh Leader moves to full-back to replace Shayne Layden, with Robbie Henshaw coming into the centres.
Scrum-half Ian Porter, who made his Connacht debut last week, makes way for Kieran Marmion. In the pack, Willie Faloon comes in for Jake Heenan at openside flanker.
Treviso v Munster
Munster will try to bounce back from that opening upset when they take on Treviso at the Stadio Comunale di Monigo in Italy.
Full-back Felix Jones will captain the side for the first time as Anthony Foley makes eight changes in the wake of the defeat.
James Cronin returns to the front row for the first time after making his Ireland debut in the summer but fellow international Paul O’Connell does not make his expected return as he did not travel with the squad due to personal reasons.
Treviso head coach Umberto Casellato has made two changes to his starting line-up for the contest, Henry Seniloli starting at scrum-half with James Ambrosini dropping down to the bench.
In the pack Mat Luamanu takes over at No 8 from Leo Auva'a.
Ulster v Zebre
The other contest on Friday sees Ulster play host to Zebre at Kingspan Stadium in Belfast.
Ulster captain Rory Best will make his first appearance of the season after being named at hooker, one of eight changes to the side which drew 32-32 with Scarlets on opening weekend.
Ruaidhri Murphy, a close season signing from the Brumbies, is in line to make his first Pro12 appearance after being named on the bench.
Zebre have made seven changes from the side that went down 41-26 at home to Cardiff Blues last time out.
The biggest movement comes in the backs, with skipper Gonzalo Garcia, full-back Hendrik Daniller and fly-half Brendon Leonard the only players to keep their places.
