Ronan O'Gara insists he is not thinking of retiring at the end of the season even if Munster win the Heineken Cup.

Now 36, O'Gara has been a key figure in the Munster line up for 16 years - racking up 2,555 points in 235 appearances.

O'Gara ready for record semi-final

During that time O'Gara, a veteran of 128 Tests for Ireland, has won the Heineken Cup twice - and he would love to taste victory in the competition once again.

Munster, though, must first negotiate their way past an in-form Clermont in Saturday's semi-final encounter for a chance of lifting the trophy in Dublin on May 18.

And even, though, victory would seem to be the perfect way for O'Gara to bow out, he insists he will continue playing as long as he keeps to his own high levels.

"This is the only game that matters," O'Gara told Sky Sports.

"My head is on Clermont on Saturday and that's it until the end of the season and then we will make a decision.

"Munster has given me everything so I want to make so I am up for another season. I am an all or nothing person.

"I have been lucky enough to be main man in this team for so long so if I feel I am playing well that's the most important thing."
