Jonathan Sexton limps off against England during February
Jonathan Sexton could return to action this weekend when Leinster travel to Limerick to face rivals Munster in the RaboDirect PRO12.
The fly-half has not played since suffering a hamstring injury during Ireland's Six Nations clash against England in Dublin during February.
He also sustained a tendon tear in his left foot which further hampered his recovery.
But Leinster have stated that Sexton has "stepped up his rehabilitation in recent days", and may be involved at Thomond Park on Saturday.
The 27-year-old is among the favourites to wear the coveted No 10 jersey with the Lions this summer when they head to Australia under coach Warren Gatland.
Meanwhile, Brian O'Driscoll is likely to play for Leinster at Munster following his ban for stamping during Ireland's defeat by Italy in Rome.
