Bronson Ross will ply his trade at Ravenhill next season
Ulster have bolstered their front-row options with the signing of New Zealand-born prop Bronson Ross from Coventry.
Ross, who is Irish qualified through his mother, played for Dunedin before moving to Europe as a 22-year-old.
Ross had spells with Boroughmuir in Scotland and Guernica in Spain before he teamed up with National One outfit Coventry.
The 27-year-old has now agreed a 12-month development contract to move to Ravenhill.
Ross said: "I have always wanted to play top-level rugby and so I am delighted to be joining one of the best rugby operations in Europe.
"My mother was originally from Belfast, I have a lot of family there, so it will be great to represent the province."
