Munster forward Peter Borlase is to join Connacht on a loan deal as the club looks to strengthen its injury his squad.
The New Zealander, who plied his trade at Canterbury and Crusaders before joining Munster, has been brought in to provide cover at tighthead prop.
Connacht have struggled with a series of injuries over the course of the season, including Dylan Rogers (hamstring) and Rodney Ah You (foot), who are both missing from action.
It is hoped that the loan of Borlase will provide the club with extra depth in the crucial front row position.
