Cross-code convert Henry Fa'afili has agreed a deal to move to RaboDirect PRO12 outfit Connacht.
The Samoa-born centre made his name in rugby league, playing for New Zealand Warriors and Warrington, before switching codes to move to Biarritz.
However, after two seasons in France, Fa'afili starred for Leeds Carnegie in the Premiership.
Fa'afili made 43 appearances for the Yorkshiremen, scoring five tries, but he was released at the end of the season when the club was relegated.
Opportunity
The 31-year-old, though, has agreed to move to the Sportsground after being sold the vision of the club by another convert, former Bradford Bull and current Connacht defence coach Mike Forshaw.
Fa'afili said: "I'm really looking forward to joining Connacht in what is a very exciting time for both myself and the club.
"I've always wanted to experience the Celtic League and with Connacht in the Heineken Cup next year it's a great opportunity for me.
"I spoke to Mike Forshaw, who I know from my rugby league days, and he explained what Connacht were about and the great work that is going on there so I'm very excited about the move. Galway is a great city and myself and my fiancée are really looking forward to living there."
