Leinster are able to welcome back two players from injury for the trip to Treviso - one of two Guinness Pro12 fixtures taking place on Sunday.

Jordi Murphy and Dave Kearney will both make their first appearances of the season for the visitors at Stadio Monigo in a game that will be shown live on Sky Sports from 2pm.

Flanker Murphy has been out of action since Ireland's summer tour to Argentina, while Kearney - who starts on the wing - last appeared for his club in the Pro12 play-off win over Ulster in May.

Luke Fitzgerald moves into the midfield from the wing, forming a centre pairing with Noel Reid. Luke McGrath and Jimmy Gopperth have been retained as the half-back partnership.

Richardt Strauss starts at hooker after a try-scoring appearance for Ireland in last weekend's win over Georgia, with Michael Bent and Tadhg Furlong joining him in the front row.

Jamie Hagan - who arrived during the week on a short-term loan deal from London Irish - is amongst the replacements for a Leinster team that has won their last 16 matches against Italian opponents.

Treviso, meanwhile, are on a miserable run of form, having lost their last 12 outings in all tournaments.

Ludovico Nitoglia will turn out for the hosts for the 100th time and will enter the pitch before his team-mates and alongside Corniel Van Zyl, who made his 150th appearance for the club in the last game in Glasgow.

In the scrum, Dean Budd is finally back, while Joe Carlisle returns at fly-half. Sam Christie shifts from the halves to inside centre to accomodate Carlisle's selection.

Great Scott!
Matt Scott: Scored Edinburgh's only try of the afternoon as they slumped to defeat in Italy

Edinburgh will have Matt Scott back in their matchday squad for the first time in six months when they host Cardiff Blues at BT Murrayfield.

The Scotland international, 24, has not featured for club nor country since undergoing shoulder surgery in the summer but has been named by Alan Solomons on the bench for this weekend's league outing.

Scott is not the only Gunner who will return on Sunday; Tom Brown, who has had a lengthy lay-off since sustaining a knee injury against Munster last season, returns to the starting XV along with lock Ollie Atkins, who is fit again after overcoming an ankle problem.

Flanker Roddy Grant, who has made a speedy recovery following a broken cheekbone, and Sam Beard, who was concussed in the European game with Lyon, also return to the starting line-up.

Lock Fraser McKenzie and hooker Neil Cochrane are also back on the bench following knee and hamstring injuries respectively.

"It is good to have a number of players returning from injury, particularly bearing in mind our heavy injury list," Solomons said.

"It is great to have Matt back in the mix. I appreciate that it will take him and the others returning from long-term injuries two or three games to get back into the swing of things. However the fact is we are happy to have them back and everyone is looking forward to Sunday's match."

As for the visitors, the Blues will hand a debut to Gareth Anscombe, with the new signing one of five changes from the team that started their last league outing against Munster.

Dan Fish is the other change in the back division as he is named on the left wing, plus hooker Kirstian Dacey, lock Macauley Cook and flanker Ellis Jenkins are all drafted into the pack.

Adam Jones will captain the region for the very first time with regular skipper Matthew Rees ruled out through injury.
