Steven Turnbull (L): Forced to retire from professional rugby through injury
Edinburgh lock Steven Turnbull has been forced to retire from professional rugby due to a knee injury.
Turnbull, who has made 48 appearances for the Scottish side, joined as an academy prospect in 2006 having played every Scottish age-grade.
The 25-year-old has seen much of his playing career plagued with injury.
"I really enjoyed my time at Edinburgh and I wish them all the best in the coming season," said Turnbull.
