George North: Hands off his marker against the Queensland Reds
British & Irish Lions wing George North believes the tourists must find flair to supplement their brawn if they are to prevail in Australia.
Warren Gatland's men were put to the test by the Queensland Reds at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday - especially during an all-action first half - before battling to a 22-12 victory.
North, who produced one scintillating break that nearly resulted in a score for captain Sam Warburton, is urging his team-mates to play with freedom and imagination as well as meeting the physical challenge head on.
The 21-year-old said: "Australia will play a fast game, and we need to make sure we run hard back at them.
"We don't want to be known as just physical guys. We want so show some finesse and mix it up a bit. We need to play as hard as we can, but we also want to play with a bit of style.

"The momentum is good, and after yesterday it's a case of we know what is coming. We will be far stronger for the experience and we will make sure we are not on the back foot for the first 10 minutes again.
"The pace has picked up and we just need to start stronger. They had a terrific skills-set, and it was good to come up against them.
"We knew it was going to be a tough match, and so it proved. They came at us with some pace right from the off, but to be fair to the boys, they dug in.
"We got our noses in front, but we were worked hard for sure. We need to keep our heads down and keep working hard. We need to push on.
"If you are tired, then you shouldn't be wearing the jersey, it's as simple as that. When it comes to fitness it's a case of putting one foot in front of the other one and keep moving forwards.
"You have to keep going. Sure, there has been a lot of travelling, but that is what a Lions tour is all about. It's a lot of travelling and a lot of rugby."
North is one of three players, alongside Alex Cuthbert and Richie Gray, who will be playing their second game in a row when they line up against a Combined Country XV on Tuesday.
