Sky Sports rugby pundit Will Greenwood proved his tipping prowess by winning the first Sky Bet-sponsored Six Nations Charity Challenge.

The World Cup winner came out on top in the battle of the Rugby Club experts to see who could win the most money for their chosen charities.

Greenwood landed three out of five winning predictions during this season's Six Nations tournament and also tipped Ireland to win with his outright prediction with online bookmaker Sky Bet.

With £1,000 up for grabs for the top tipster each week, plus returns on bets, the former England centre landed the Borne Charity a whopping £4,512.

The former England centre said: "I'm delighted to have won the Challenge.

"It's certainly been great fun and the money will mean so much for a charity I am climbing Kilimanjaro for. I'm totally chuffed."

Scotland's Rory Lawson finished second after tipping up an 8/1 winner (England, Wales and Ireland on the handicap) on the final week of the Charity Challenge to leap above Scott Quinnell with more than £1,700.

Dewi Morris also secured his third successful bet on the final week by backing odds-on shots England, Wales and Ireland all to win.

In all seven members of the Sky Sports Rugby Club took part in the Challenge raising more than £7,600 for their chosen charities.
