England are 4/1 to win this summer's daunting three-match Test series with South Africa following their decision to appoint Stuart Lancaster as head coach until 2016.

England to win all four autumn internationals - 10/1. Bet now

Lancaster led England to the runners-up spot behind Wales in the recent RBS Six Nations after being initially appointed as interim coach.

England now face a punishing seven-Test schedule, including three against the Springboks - starting in Durban on June 9th - followed by autumn fixtures on home soil against Fiji (Nov 10th), Australia (Nov 17th), South Africa (Nov 24th) and world champions New Zealand (Dec 1st).

The online betting firm offer 3/1 that Lancaster guides them to a First Test win against South Africa and 33/1 that he masterminds a 3-0 series win.

Lancaster is 10/1 to guide England to victory in all four autumn internationals at Twickenham and it's 150/1 for them to go undefeated for the rest of 2012.

Sky Bet's rugby product manager Chris Smart said: "I think everyone is pleased that Lancaster got the job. He appears to command the respect of the players and is well liked by the supporters.

"He's done a very good job thus far but faces a very difficult schedule up until the end of the year. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that they could win only one (against Fiji) from seven games.

"If I was an England fan I would be happy to see them competitive in South Africa, maybe sneak one of the three Tests and look to win two or three of the autumn internationals.

"It would be nice to see them display some more cutting edge in attack and some more tries would be a welcome addition to their performances."
