Wingers Mark Cueto and Tom Brady have signed new contracts with the Sale Sharks.

Cueto is the club's longest-serving player and the leading try-scorer in the Aviva Premiership, having crossed 84 times since his debut back in 2001.

The former England international has signed a 12-month deal, while locally-born Brady has agreed a two-year contract.

Cueto said: "I am delighted to sign a new deal. I am really enjoying my rugby at the club and am looking forward to adding to my try tally.

"Dimes (Steve Diamond) has assembled a great squad of players and I want to play my part to help the club do well."

Delighted

Brady added: "Sale are a club I have grown up supporting, they are my local team and its something I've always wanted to be a part of.

"It's a great environment to be in so I'm delighted that I have been able to commit to the club for the next two years."

Director of rugby Diamond said: "I am delighted both Mark and Tom have agreed new deals. Mark can play centre, wing or full back and is enjoying a new lease of life with the club.

"He continues to score tries and is a player the younger lads look up to and go to for advice. Tom is a local lad and playing the best rugby of his career now and I am sure he will represent the club for many years to come."
