Sale and Worcester have been drawn in the same pool for next season's Amlin Challenge Cup.

The Aviva Premiership rivals, who both narrowly avoided relegation in the previous campaign, will face 2012 winners Biarritz and fellow Top 14 club Oyonnax in Pool 1.

Wasps will also make two trips to France to play Bayonne and Grenoble, as well as what should be a routine visit to Italy to face Viadana.

Bath will make the short trip across the River Severn to take on the Dragons, with Bordeaux and Mogliano completing Pool 2.

Premiership newcomers Newcastle face a testing trip to Brive in Pool 3, but will fancy their chances of overcoming both Calvisano and Bucharest.

In Pool 5, London Irish will battle it out for top spot with last season's runners-up Stade Francais, with minnows Prato and Olympus also featuring.

Pool 1: Biarritz, Sale, Worcester, Oyonnax.

Pool 2: Bath, Dragons, Bordeaux, Mogliano.

Pool 3: Brive, Newcastle, Calvisano, Bucharest.

Pool 4: Wasps, Viadana, Bayonne, Grenoble.

Pool 5: Stade Francais, London Irish, Prato, Olympus.
