Sale Sharks have confirmed Tom Holmes, Tom Brady, Mark Easter and Aston Croall have agreed new contracts.

Holmes, a 23-year-old lock, has enjoyed an impressive season despite Sale's troubles in the Premiership.

Winger Brady and No 8 Easter have endured injury-hit campaigns however they did enough to warrant new deals, while Croall, who can cover at hooker and loosehead, has been rewarded for his commitment.

"All four are really good lads who have a great work ethic and they are people who care about the club," said Sale director of rugby Steve Diamond.

"They have all got the right culture and we are really pleased that they have all re-committed to Sale and they will be very important to us going forward into next season."
