Full-back Rob Miller and New Zealand flanker Dan Braid have agreed to extend their stays with Sale Sharks.

Miller joined the struggling Premiership club in 2010, while Braid joined at the start of the year.

Miller, the former Newcastle Falcons player, was the Premiership's leading try scorer last season.

"I am looking to play my part in any future success the club has with Steve Diamond in charge as director of rugby."

He said: "I am delighted to agree a new deal. We have some great young players who have come through the system and we also have some experienced players too.

Success

"I am looking to play my part in any future success the club has with Steve Diamond in charge as director of rugby."

And Diamond added: "Rob and Dan signing new deals is our statement of intent here at Sale Sharks.

"Rob has made the full-back position his own and he not only defends and attacks well but is a very capable kicker and has nailed several important kicks for us recently.

"Dan, meanwhile, has slotted in perfectly at the club, he is a leader and a no nonsense flanker.

"Since joining us he has been one of our stand out players and everyone at the club is delighted that he has committed himself to the club."
