Owen Farrell: Fly-half will be available for season climax
Saracens' hopes of a successful end to the season have received a boost after England fly-half Owen Farrell was given the all-clear to resume training.
The 22-year-old injured his right foot against Northampton Saints at the weekend, but the club said scans have shown no serious damage.
Farrell is expected to return to action on the training field towards the end of the week, ahead of Sarries' Aviva Premiership game against Newcastle on Sunday.
Saracens are top of the Premiership table with three games left in the regular season, while Mark McCall's side are also preparing for a Heineken Cup semi-final against Clermont Auvergne at Twickenham on April 26.
Farrell has scored 132 points in the Premiership this season, despite missing a significant part of the season while on Six Nations duty with England.
