Saracens coach Mark McCall has signed an extension to his contract which keeps him at the club until the end of the 2014-15 season at least.

McCall began his coaching career with Ulster, winning the Celtic League in 2006, and after a short spell in France with Castres, he moved to Saracens as first team coach in 2009-10.

He worked initially under Brendan Venter and in his first season the club reached their first Aviva Premiership final.

In January 2011 he took over as Director of Rugby, with Venter's role changing to Technical Director - and Sarries won the title.

Chairman Nigel Wray said: "Mark has provided outstanding service for the past three-and-a-half years, and we are delighted he has agreed to continue his excellent work.

"He leads a strong and talented coaching team with great skill and fantastic commitment, and we are very confident he will continue to guide and inspire the development of the squad."

Sarries coaches Alex Sanderson, Dan Vickers, Kevin Sorrell and Paul Gustard have also extended their contracts to the end of the 2014-15 season, and Wray added on Gustard: "Paul has proved himself to be one of the most talented young coaches in England, and we are delighted he has agreed to continue his excellent work at Saracens.

"I believe we have a group of outstanding people guiding the club, and Paul ranks highly among them."
