Saracens stalwart Kevin Sorrell has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

Saracens stalwart Kevin Sorrell has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

The 29-year-old centre, who joined the club in 1995, has agreed a deal that will take him through to the end of the 2007/08 season.

Sorrell has made 226 appearances for the club and made played 21 times in the Guinness Premiership this term, scoring two tries to be named Players' Player of the Season.

He said: "I've been at the club for 11 years now and I'm delighted to have signed for another two.

"It was an easy decision to make as Saracens are part of my extended family and I've been very fortunate to be a part of the club all this time."

Saracens Director of Rugby Alan Gaffney added: "Kevin has been a consistent performer for the club over a number of years. He played an important part in the fine end of season run and we're delighted he will continue to be part of the squad."
