Surprise Guinness Premiership high-flyers Bristol have had another boost with three of Richard Hill's key men signing new contracts with the club.
Widely tipped as relegation candidates at the start of the season, Bristol have defied all the critics by setting the pace in the Premiership this term, and are level on points with league leaders Gloucester.
Props Alex Clarke and Darren Crompton and full-back or centre Josh Taumalolo have all been rewarded for their form and have signed new deals at the Memorial Ground.
Clarke has bounced back from shoulder surgery to secure a regular place in the side this term and his reward has been a fresh three-year deal.
Taumalolo has signed for a further two years after his successful arrival from Neath, while Crompton has agreed a 12-month extension until the end of next term.
Hill says that the new deals are a sign that Bristol are building for the future and aim to be a successful side.
"I'm absolutely delighted and it's a real statement of our intent to become a force in English and ultimately European rugby for some time to come," said Hill.
