Sale Sharks have made two changes for their trip to Bristol, as Philippe Saint-Andre's men go in search of an eighth Premiership win in nine games.
Sililo Martens is the major absentee at scrum half, and Richard Wigglesworth is drafted in as replacement at half back.
The other alteration comes in the forward division, where the Sharks welcome back Ignacio Fernandez Lobbe.
The aggressive number eight's presence prompts a shake-up in the back row, with Nathan Bonner-Evans moving to blindside at the expense of Epi Taione.
Coach Kingsley Jones has warned his men to be on their guard at the Memorial Ground, against a side who he feels will fancy their chances come Sunday.
"Bristol will have targeted this game at the start of the season as it is on an International weekend. We are expecting a tough game, especially up front against a very solid looking pack."
Bristol head coach Richard Hill has kept faith with the team that lost to Worcester Warriors, after his charges produced a battling display despite the 24-15 scoreline.
In frosty conditions at Sixways, Hill's men fought back from two tries down before the boot of Shane Drahm finally ended their resistance.
The one personnel change for the visit of Sale Sharks is the inclusion of Bernardo Stortoni, who returns from international duty.
The Argentine's presence will prompt a backline reshuffle, as Vaughan Going moves to the wing to accommodate Stortoni, meaning David Lemi switches flanks with Brian Lima taking the place of centre Rob Higgitt.
Bristol have a strong record at the Memorial Ground, and Hill is hoping that Lima can be the key to a Premiership upset on Sunday.
"I've moved Brian Lima into the centre to bring him into the game more. We brought him here to be one of our key players, a man who can influence matches," said the Bristol boss.
