The Western Force have confirmed the signing of Australia Sevens international Ed Stubbs on a two-year deal.
The 23-year-old made three Super Rugby appearances for the Brumbies in 2010 before committing to the Sevens set-up.
However Force head coach Michael Foley has lured Stubbs back to the 15-a-side game and he believes he can become a key figure in his line-up.
"Ed's another quality signing for the club," Foley told the club's official site.
"He's a young, powerful and robust back who's benefited from coming through the Sevens pathway and is hungry for another opportunity in Super Rugby.
"He's still only 23 and has the potential for a long career at this level with the Emirates Western Force.
"He's got a great awareness on the field, a good turn of pace and has the ability to offload in contact, and he'll be pushing hard for a place in the 22 throughout the next two seasons."
While Stubbs will team up with the Force, the Perth-based franchise have confirmed David Harvey, Jordan Rapana and Rory Sidey have been released from their contracts.
