Quade Cooper has ended his dispute with the Australian Rugby Union by agreeing a new two-year deal.

Cooper's future had been in doubt following his publicly spat with the Wallabies, with the enigmatic fly-half fined $60,000 after he criticised a "toxic environment" within the camp.

Cooper announced he would make his professional boxing debut in February after rejecting an incentive-based contract.

However the 24-year-old has now committed to playing for the national team and the Reds for the next two seasons.

"It's no secret that I have a strong passion and desire to represent Queensland and Australia," he said.

"I love playing for the Reds and the Wallabies.

"It's a great feeling to know that things are sorted and now I can continue to improve as a player and as a member of the Queensland Reds and the Wallabies.

"I'm confident I'll front for round one in peak physical condition and primed to play the best rugby in my career."
